About Plainwell

We do plain well.

Plainwell makes plain clothing for everyday life — and for the days you train.

Tees without graphics. Joggers without stripes. Underwear and socks in packs, because nobody buys one pair. Simple performance pieces for the gym that look like clothes, not costumes. Everything in neutral colours that go with everything else.

We started Plainwell because plain is surprisingly hard to buy. Most stores sell you a transformation; we sell you the shirt you'll actually wear three times a week. Every product page tells you the fabric, the fit, and the real delivery window — before checkout, not after. Size charts in centimetres and inches. Multipacks priced per unit. Zero exclamation marks.

Who makes our products

We don't pretend to run our own factories. Some of our basics are made by names you already know — Hanes, Gildan, Fruit of the Loom — chosen because millions of people have already voted on them; where that's the case, the product page says so plainly. The rest are proven, well-reviewed makers we've vetted for quality and consistency. Curation is the work: if it's on our shelf, it earned the spot.

What we don't do

No fake discounts or invented "compare at" prices. No countdown timers. No claims a product can't keep. The price you see is the real price, and the delivery window on the page is the real delivery window.

Alongside the clothing we keep a small shelf of personal essentials — simple, effective tools for body and hair — because the same person who wants a plain white tee usually wants a bathroom shelf that isn't shouting either.

If something's wrong with your order, we fix it within a day.
